When can I talk to a Counselor?

Our Counselors are available Monday through Saturday. It is our goal to meet with you as soon as possible. We strive to make sure there is a Counselor available right when you need them. 

How long will I have to wait to see a Counselor?

Typically you can meet with a Counselor within a week of scheduling an appointment. You can schedule a visit by calling 860-893-5628.

Can I select my Counselor?

Yes. You can review our Counselor bios. Or, we'll select one for you. All our Counselors are highly qualified.  

Do you treat children, couples, and families?

We currently see adults and children over the age of 7. We currently do not offer couples or specialized family therapy. However, family members are pulled in as needed.

Do you prescribe medication?

While we don’t currently have a medication provider on staff, we have multiple community connections. One group we partner with is Straun Health and Wellness.

How much does a visit cost?

We accept insurance (Husky/Medicaid, and Cinga/Evernorth). We are out-of-network with all other insurances. If you do not wish to use insurance , or you don't have mental health coverage, regular visits last 55 minutes and cost $150. We care about our clients and strive to make our prices affordable for everyone. We can work with you on payment plan or sliding scale.

Is Counseling covered by medical insurance? 

We accept Husky/Medicaid, Cigna/Evernorth and Medicare. Please get to know your mental health benefit before your first visit. We will submit out-of-network claims on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about it.

Can I opt out of using insurance? 

If you would not like to use your behavioral health coverage, you have the option to opt out using this OPT Out Form.
