“We are wired for connection. But the key is that, in any given moment of it, it has to be real.”

~ Brene Brown ~

There are ways to gain peace back into your life.

…and it starts with your intuition.

Do you ever feel like you're being pulled in countless directions, juggling numerous roles and failing to meet your standards? Are you tossing and turning at night as you replay your day, stresses, and life? Is the stress taking its toll on your body through aches and pains, headaches or your heart feels like it’s going to jump out of your chest?

But what if I told you there are other ways to gain that peace back in your life?

Mental health treatment needs to look at the whole person. My approach is to meet you where you are in life, and also to teach you to trust your intuition, communicate your needs with loved ones and professionals and provide you with skills to become confident in who you are as a person - to help you realize you have the strength and ability to be the person you want to be.

Have you been avoiding the dreaded question, “How does that make you feel?”

Therapy isn’t what it used to be, I promise. Connection is key when you are in therapy, if there isn’t a connection, anything we talk about will go in one ear and out the other. I believe that humor, sincerity and collaboration are key parts in the healing process.

You are your own expert, and I will help you tap into the strengths that you may have forgotten were there. You shouldn’t feel like you are talking to a wall, collaboration is key - I will actively listen without judgment, and provide direct feedback and skills when warranted.

Together we will explore beliefs and behaviors that might hinder your progress in an open-minded, non-judgmental, and conversational manner. We will work together to build confidence, communication and self-advocacy so that you can take back control of your life.
